		<description>ABOUT THE EXHIBITION


The Hammer Museum presents a major exhibition marking the joint acquisition of the complete archive of prints by Los Angeles publisher Edition Jacob Samuel by the UCLA Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts, Hammer Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Since 1988 Jacob Samuel has published 43 portfolios of prints made by a diverse group of international artists. (Run time: 2 min.)

ABOUT THE ARTISTS


Composer and performer Meredith Monk sang while she made her prints with master printer Jacob Samuel. (Run time: 2 min.)



Artist Miroslaw Balka and master printer Jacob Samuel collected footprints of homeless men in Santa Monica for Balka's print series, as recounted by Samuel. (Run time: 2 min., 9 sec.)
